Private Weekend Tours:
Join Farm Manager Kaleb or Owner Heather on a Saturday Morning Adventure, rain or shine! You and up to 3 other guest ages 9 and up will visit various herds around the farm from weanlings to our Brood herds. Ride along in the Farm Truck or once in the pasture, in the back of the pickup. Learn herd stewardship and husbandry while meeting our Highlands. Interactions with the animals are free-choice, but the cows are always looking for treats!. Visit is about 75 minutes.
Start times will be at 9am or 10:30am sharp to maximize animal activity. $150 includes all fees for 4 people.

Weekday Herd check Ride Along
Join our team for Morning Chores and herd checks! You and 3 other guests will ride along with our crew as we visit both Brood herds only. Help count calves and cows, check fence rows and creep feeders, learning herd stewardship and husbandry while meeting our Highlands. Interactions are free choice, however, some of the Mamas are expecting their morning cookies! Visit is about 60 minutes. Start time is 7:30am sharp. $100 includes all fees for 4 people. Waivers and payments done prior to arrival. Only held on Tuesdays or Thursdays. AT THIS TIME, CONTACT US DIRECTLY TO SCHEDULE.
Meet the Highlands
Sheppard Farm is offering the opportunity to our community to meet selected Highland Cattle for a one-on-one experience! From 9-2 pm, we are opening our farm to scheduled friends ages 8-80 to get hands on with Highlands! Visiting parties are limited to 2 guests around the animals (no exceptions). Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Visits are 30 minutes.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to park & to receive instructions on how to interact with the animals. You will be hands on, so wear closed toe shoes and be prepared to get up close and personal with the Highland Breed! We will be selling beef and merchandise to commemorate your visit! Fees are $50 for 2 people, Waivers and payments done prior to arrival.
Farm Hayrides.
Celebrate Summer with a family friendly hay ride into one of our two Highland herds. You'll be driven into our brood cow herds to see all the new Spring calves and their Mamas in their natural environment. Our Herd Bulls will be out and on view too! The cattle will have the opportunity to interact with you from the safety of the Hay wagon. You'll have the chance to feed some hungry moms and enjoy the beautiful pastoral views in this 30-45 min ride.
For ages 5-95. Participants will have to ascend stairs to get into the hay wagons and bathrooms will only be available at the Main Farm, not in the field. You will have the opportunity to purchase our all natural beef & our merchandise after your pasture tour!
Fees are $15 per person, waivers and payments done prior to arrival.

We welcome homeschool groups, 4-H and FFA Clubs, as well as Team Building or Nature Retreat events for your staff.
