Take a break before the busy back-to-school season and treat yourself to a relaxing afternoon on the farm!

Join Sheppard Farm on Apple Hill and Green Daisy Soaps for Scrub & Brush, a unique experience that combines creativity, self-care, and Highland cattle. Guests will create their own custom-scented body scrub using high-quality ingredients and a variety of fragrance options, then head to the Barn for one of our favorite farm activities—brushing our friendly Highland cows.

Enjoy the peaceful farm setting, spend time with these gentle, shaggy cattle, and leave with a handcrafted scrub made just for you. Whether you’re looking for a fun outing with friends, a mother-daughter experience, or simply a chance to unwind before school schedules and fall activities begin, Scrub & Brush is the perfect way to savor the last days of summer.

Crafting with Cows

Kick off the cozy season with a one-of-a-kind farm experience at Sheppard Farm!
Join us for Crafting with Cows, where you'll create your very own Highland Holiday décor featuring an adorable Highland cow with interchangeable hats and basket inserts to celebrate the changing seasons. Choose your favorite paint colors and personalize your craft to make it uniquely yours!

While your masterpiece dries, you'll head to the barn for the best part of the day—hands-on time with our friendly young Highland cattle! This hour-long event is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful September weather with friends, family, or a creative afternoon for yourself.
Tickets are $45 and additional interchangeable holidays are $15

PRIVATE WEEKEND TOURS:
Join Farm Manager Kaleb or Owner Heather on a Saturday Morning Adventure, rain or shine! You and up to 3 other guest ages 9 and up will visit various herds around the farm from weanlings to our Brood herds. Ride along in the Farm Truck or once in the pasture, in the back of the pickup. Learn herd stewardship and husbandry while meeting our Highlands. Interactions with the animals are free-choice, but the cows are always looking for treats!. Visit is about 45-60 minutes.
Start times will be at 8:30 am or 9:30am sharp to maximize animal activity. $160 includes all fees for 4 people.

Held rain or shine and we encourage our guests to wear closed toe shoes and farm appropriate attire.
There is a 72 hour cancellation policy for THIS experience. If you cancel within 72 hours of the event you will not be refunded your payment.

YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO THE FOLLOWING: Hay, straw, manure, cats, mud and other farm related allergens.

Whether your group would like their own Meet the Highlands or a personal Hayride, we offer PRIVATE HAYRIDES & TOURS for groups!
We welcome homeschool groups, retirement homes 4-H and FFA Clubs, as well as Team Building or Nature Retreat events for your staff.
